Celebrated Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie has finally made it more comprehensible on who is behind the unique lyrics on his songs specifically his rap verses.
The SarkCess Music boss made this known when answering a question from a fun on social media site Twitter.
This comes few days after Ghanaian writer and composer Akwaboah made it known in an interview on Accra-based Hitz 103.9 FM that he “wrote 90% of songs on Sarkodie‘s ‘Mary‘ album.”
In reply to who writes his songs, the ‘Original’ rapper mentioned that he obviously write all his rap verses and most of his hooks.
He however acknowledged the fact that he “allow featured acts to do so on certain songs.”
“I write all ma Rap verses “Obviously” yeah and write Most of ma hooks but certain songs I allow the featured acts,” he stated.
The BET Awards 2012 winner is set to headline the “Sarkodie History in the Making Concert tomorrow [Saturday, August 8 at the Apollo Theatre in New York, USA. The likes of Ice Prince, Banky W, Pappy Kojo, Joey B and Lighter TOD. Others include Bisa K’dei, EL, Samini, Efya, Kwaw Kese, Obrafour as well as The Compozers will perform.
