Sarah Kwabla finally speaks!
The plot to the Asamoah Gyan-Sarah Kwabla alleged sex tape thickens by the day with new developments and new twists emerging as the case still goes through investigations by the Ghana police.
The lady in the middle of these allegations, Sarah Kwablah who has been branded by some observers as the victim has finally granted Razz Newspaper an interview, after several months of remaining dead silent over the issue.
Sarah explained to the paper that, her reason for staying mute over the matter is because; the case is with the Domestic Violence and Victims Support Unit (DOVVSU) and her lawyers advised her not to speak on the issue.
“I have been advised to stay away from the media war so, I am doing so. With time, we will know the truth,” she said.
Speaking about the involvement of entertainment journalist, Osarfo Anthony and musician, Ekow Micah in the issue:
she disclosed that initially, when the issue came up, she had no one to talk to and seek advice from, so she went to Ekow Micah for advise and for him to help her name off the blackmailing allegations and also to help her get justice.
According to her, Ekow listened to her issues and suggested the involvement of Osarfo Anthony, who was supposed to help with publications of her ordeal.
She stated that Ekow convinced her that Osarfo is a friend of his and could help out with the publication of the happenings between herself and Asamoah Gyan.
However, she also stated that, Ekow Micah recorded their conversation during their first meeting, unbeknownst to her.
“All along, I had already given Ekow one tape to listen to a conversation between me and Asamoah Gyan in order for him to believe my story, so when he recorded me, he added the two tapes that have I and Asamoah Gyan and gave them to Osarfo without my consent, “she said.
Commenting on the ensuing allegation of extortion and blackmail leveled against the likes of Osarfo Anthony and Ekow Michah, Sarah stated that, she's not involved in that allegations and does not believe that the two accused had anything to do with any form of extortion or blackmail.
“I will be shocked if Ekow Micah really planned that because of Ghc25,000. I would believe the story somehow if the amount in question is Ghc 1 million, but Ghc 25,000 is too small for a musician of his kind and why should Osarfo even attempt to take money in the first place? I thought his enthusiasm came from a passion for the truth with regards to his job” she hinted.
She strongly believes that everything going on with Osarfo and Ekow is a trap that was well set by Samuel Anim Addo, the manager for Asamoah Gyan.
She also claimed that, Anim Addo set a similar trap for her former lawyer, Maurice Ampaw but the latter came out unscathed.
Reacting to news making rounds that, she's been avoiding the Police, she stated, she is yet to receive any official inviation from the police.

Jonilar Urges Ghanaian creatives to watch industry trends
Ghanaian digital music expert Jonilar known in real life Jonathan Nii Laryea has stressed the importance of understanding industry standards, pointing out that many talented creatives struggle due to a lack of awareness about some of the key aspects that could determine their success.
Jonilar, who doubles as Ghana country director and brand ambassador for Uganda-based aggregator Omziki, made this known while speaking at the second edition of the Digital Music Education Seminar held on 23 March at the Okumah Executive Lodge in the Bono East region of Ghana.
The seminar, running under the theme bridging the Gap between Music Education and the Industry, sought to equip musicians and creatives with essential knowledge about the music industry.
Other speakers for the event included health professional and MC Yaw Ampofo Adomako, public relations expert Isaac Sosito, as well as broadcasters Gideon Kwame Sarkodie and Bretuoba Kwabena.
Jonilar noted that instead of solely relying on social media for support, musicians should invest in learning how to establish connections within the industry. He further urged local media to prioritise crafting radio content that educates creatives and reiterated his call from last year's event to the government and other stakeholders to invest in digital music incubator programmes in junior and senior high schools nationwide.
At last year's seminar,Jonilar also proposed a one-year tax break for media and influencers promoting arts, music, and tourism to bolster Ghana's creative and cultural sectors.
Ampofo, meanwhile, emphasised the significance of mental wellness for creatives,
highlighting its role in preventing unforeseen consequences, while Kwame Sarkodie advised musicians to cultivate business relationships with media professionals to enhance their visibility on radio. Sosito underscored the importance of improving communication skills and seeking professional assistance in managing one's brand.
Speaking to Music In Africa, Jonilar said the event “has been very impactful,” adding that he was excited about the turnout. “It shows the zeal and level of commitment by musicians and creatives here to learning new ways they can advance their careers.”
