Ghanaian rapper, Okyeame Kwame has debunked claims that the President of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), Obuor wears a corset.
Speaking in an interview with Dr. Pounds on Hitz FM’s ‘Hitz Gallery Show’, Okyeame Kwame, known in real life as Kwame Nsiah Appau, revealed that he has had countless encounters with Obuor and can testify how hard he is working to get his huge belly trimmed.
“Obuor doesn’t use a corset. I saw him 10 days ago and his tummy has reduced a lot”, he said.
Kwame however revealed that Obuor’s duties as MUSIGA president sometimes prevents him from eating during the day.
“Obour is dedicated to his work so much that he only gets to eat late”, he stated.
According to reports, Obour (real name Bice Osei Kuffour) collapsed last Sunday while training at the University of Ghana school field, days after widespread public scrutiny of his increasing pot-belly.
Though he admitted that people criticized him for his big belly, he denied on Hitz fm that he had collapsed during his training.
“On Sunday I did my usual exercise but I was tired at some point and decided to relax on the floor and rest. Before I realized, pictures were all over the internet that I collapsed. I never collapsed! I was just tired and I was resting”, he said.
“Let’s encourage him (Obour) so he is able to undertake his mission (of trimming his belly)”, Okyeame Kwame added.
