Musician Okyeame Kwame has underscored the importance of mainstream artistes having some solid human resource backing.
Having Annica Nsiah Appau as wife, Kwame, who released his new single ‘Small Small' on LIVE FM's Lifestyle Cafe hosted by Antoine Mensah, said his wife guards his trade jealously ensuring a steady rise for a career that has so far been awesome.
“I am proud of my wife because of the sacrifices she has made; she stopped a lot of bad energy from coming to me. Example, she makes sure I am in the right place to the extent that, even when there is production work to be done, and things are going wrong, she makes sure I don't hear of it unless the show is over.
“She makes sure that I eat at the right time, she makes sure the business is running; whenever people are joking with my work, she stays strong.”
Citing an instance where her wife's skill came in handy, he said; “I remember I asked her what she really wants to become, what her aspirations are and she said my aspiration were her aspiration, her aspiration was to make sure that I achieve my aspiration and to me that was it.
“She stopped law school to study an MBA in marketing so that she can understand what I do, so many amazing things about her, that is what makes her special. Apart from the fact that she has given me amazing children and she is extremely beautiful.”
