Ghanaian Hi Life artiste turned pastor, says he has just realised that Hi life
music is his God given talent.
In an interview with Afia Schwarzenegger on
Aben Wo Ho on Kasapa FM Friday, said he parted ways with Hilife songs because he felt it was sinful but suddenly realised that it is only a
talent God gave him.
“ Highlife song is not secular. Initially I had a problem singing when I saw Christ but with time, I have come to realise that it is a gift God gave me for mankind and I don't have to ignore it.”
The ‘Otoolege' singer also noted that he will not shy away from singing his old Hi life tunes if he
gets the opportunity to perform on any stage as he sets to promote his new album which
features popular artiste Sarkodie.
The ‘Sardine' hitmaker downplayed fears that his church members will be worried if they saw him performing hilife songs in public, saying the members will understand that he is only utilizing the talent God gave him.
