Michelle Obama is going out with a bang for her final State of the Union appearance.
The First Lady stole the style spotlight in a yellow-orange wool crepe dress by Narciso Rodriguez at the U.S. Capitol on Tuesday.
All eyes were on Obama, 51, when she entered her box in the House of Representatives gallery, receiving a warm welcome from dignitaries and politicians.
And many fans online took to Twitter to applaud FLOTUS’ stunning orange ensemble. Comedian Charlamagne tha God tweeted with praise, “First Lady Michelle Obama out there looking like a delicious piece of Orange Starburst.”
While one follower wrote, “Has @MichelleObama ever looked more fierce than she does tonight?” We totally agree!
Fittingly, Narciso Rodriguez was also the designer behind her 2008 election night dress. Last year, Obama wore a grey Michael Kors suit channeling actress Julianna Marguiles from The Good Wife.
And Obama’s bold SOTU dress was such a hit that it sold out instantly online.
