Stakeholders of Ghana’s showbiz industry need to have the quest to seek knowledge from other well established countries as to how to properly run the industry, second runner-ups at the 2015 UK X-Factor Show, Reggie N Bollie have said.
The group believes that this will shape the industry as so many things can be learnt from the western world.
Speaking on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz on Wednesday, they cited collection and distribution of royalties, artiste management, and staging, among others as issues which needed more attention.
“What Ghana showbiz industry needs to do is to understand that the world is a global village. We know that already but we need to embrace it in totality… It will be great if we can send delegates from Ghana to go study how the industry is run abroad. Even if it will take people coming here to train us… We need to be hungry to learn,” Reggie told host, KMJ when they were asked what could be done to make Ghana’s industry better.
Reggie N Bollie are in Ghana to shoot the music video of their first single. The song is scheduled to be released on May 13.
