The battle for supremacy begins as Tigo Ghana Meets Naija draws nigh.
On Saturday May 21st, the Accra International Conference Centre will host the sixth edition of the Tigo Ghana Meets Naija concert.
Perceived as a musical match, the leading acts of the two countries are taking center stage to battle it out for everything including pride and supremacy.
Ghana goes to the May 21st battle with leading men Shatta Wale, Pappy Kojo and recently crowned Artiste of the Year E.L, who will be7 performing at his first ever show after his recent award.
Nigeria is banking their hopes on three major heavyweights; Flavour, Olamide and Harrysong. Whilst Olamide and Flavour have enjoyed some decent appeal lately, the other act to wow patrons on the night may be Harrysong whose ‘Reggae Blues’ song has become a hit locally.
Stepping in to neutralize the competition is the Ghana-based Nigerian musician Mr Eazi, who is also making his first mainstream appearance after being signed onto Wizkid’s StarBoy Records.
Tigo Ghana Meets Naija is undoubtedly one of Africa’s biggest music night as it has over the years attracted a lot of patrons and also encouraged a healthy musical rivalry.

“All Sam George Know Is To Sit on Radio And Rant, Look At Our Roads” – Abena Korkor Attacks Mp (Video)
Abena Korkor Attacks Mp (Video)
The Ningo Prampram Member of Parliament, Sam George, has come under fire from socialite Abena Korkor for not fixing the roads in his district.
Korkor posted a video of her community's terribly maintained roads that was shot in Tema Community 25 after recent rains.
She claims that Uber drivers won't come to the neighborhood to give rides because of how terrible the roads are.
She added that, as a result, she must travel in a motor vehicle to do all of her errands. As Korkor hauled local MP Sam George, she did not hold back.
She also had some harsh words to say about Stephanie Karikari, the former Miss Ghana, and former President Mahama, among many others.

“What If The ‘Big Mouth Association” Too Comes Out Angry?” – Shatta Wale Asks Ghana Society Of The Physically Disabled
After making fun of Stonebwoy's disabilities, Ghanaian reggae dancehall musician Shatta Wale has adamantly refused to apologize to the Ghana Society of Physically Disabled (GSPD).
After Wale made fun of Stonebwoy at the just-ended Salafest, the GSPD urged the singer to recant his remarks and issue an apology.
However, Shatta Wale disregarded society's plea in a widely shared video response.
The “On God” hitmaker instead questioned society's reasoning for the demand and railed against it.
The outspoken performer said, “You can't create a problem for me; I am a problem myself.” “Everything we are doing is creating an association and paying dues; there is even an unemployed people's association.”

“Kwaku Manu Is Very Rich And Owns A House In East Legon” – Oboy Siki Reveals
In an interview with Angel FM, well-known Kumawood actor Oboy Siki praised his colleague Kwaku Manu for his public persona despite his affluence.
He said that Manu is someone who worked hard to get his wealth in the entertainment sector and does not show it off in public as some do.
He said that Kwaku Manu, the actor, had constructed an opulent home in East Legon and added that there were other things he had done behind the scenes that were not made public.
“A person such as Kwaku Manu presents himself as impoverished, but in reality, he is not; he just chooses not to show it off. Even if he has a home in East Legon and all, he does not lead an opulent life. I don't give a damn about what he thinks; I'm just telling the truth,” he remarked.
Actor Kwaku Manu, who is highly recognized in the nation, currently hosts a show on which he conducts interviews with celebrities, which he shares on many social media networks.
