Shatta Wale Unveils Charity Initiative Dubbed ‘Shatta Supports’.

Dancehall king Shatta Wale, proud head of the SM4LYF movement, has announced a fresh initiative of social support which he has christened ‘Shatta Supports'.
Artists generally have a philanthropic initiative which runs alongside their professional activities, and Shatta Wale, whose brand seems to run on controversies and invectives, looks ready to also go down that road.
In a post on Facebook Monday, the ‘Kakai' hitmaker announced that he would soon be officially unveiling the initiative, which should work as a form of corporate social responsibility on the part of his brand.
He wrote:

I will soon be rolling out our corporate conscience initiative, Shatta Supports! Join us in our corporate citizenship drive ….. it's time for CSR ‪#‎ShattaSupports‪#‎ShattaMovement

It looks like a necessary next step for a brand too often mired in controversy, even if that is exactly what works for it.
