Popular sound engineer and music producer Kaywa has revealed on the AM Pluzz show with Sammy Flex that he introduced Crank music in Ghana.
Speaking on the reason for which he has changed his signature from ” I don’t know what I go talk ooo” to “Highly spiritual”, the popular music producer digressed a bit to explain that he is a trend setter.
According to him, he doesn’t love to always follow trends. He loves to introduce new trends rather. That was the inspiration that got him to introduce Crank music in Ghana some years back.
His first crank song he produced was 4×4’s “hot girls dot com”. After which crank music became a whole movement for a number of years in the Ghanaian music scene
Kaywa has produced top beats like Buk Bak’s Kolom, Ohema Mercy’s Aseda, Bisa Kdei’s Mansa among others.
