Don’t feature on songs for money – Akwaboah.

According to the I Love You artiste, when a reputable musician just jumps on any song because of the financial resources to reap without putting into consideration its content, it affects the brand and has the potential of killing the brand as well.

“Amakye Dede, Amboley, Amandzeba and some other musicians will still remain relevant because they built their brands well. “When was the last time Amakye Dede featured an artiste or brought any new song out? But he still remains relevant because he was not just collaborating with any artiste but built his brand. Sarkodie, “Okyeame Kwame and other artistes we admire also agree to work with other colleagues because they believe they have the talent,” he told Showbiz in an interview last week.
Asked if he has turned down an offer from a new artiste to feature him on the song, Akwaboah who has worked with the likes of Sarkodie, Okyeame Kwame, Becca and Ice Prince said no artiste has approached him yet but he is won't hesitate to reject the offer if the artiste is not good.
“I don't look at the money being offered but I take into consideration what the other artiste is bringing on board. Sarkodie agreed to work with me because he believed in my talent,” he explained.
Talking about Sarkodie signing him on to Sarkcess Music, Akwaboah who is planning to release his latest single, Hello said it was the best thing that ever happened to him.
According to Akwaboah, real name, Gladstorm Kwabena Akwaboah, he has high hopes that Sarkodie can help him achieve his dreams.
“The benefits I am getting being signed on at Sarkcess music are enormous. I have qualified people listening to my music and doing all the necessary corrections before it comes out,” he added.
