Hiplife artiste Ex-Doe, known in real life as Richard Siaw Akrofi, has rendered an unqualified apology to hiplife Grandpa, Reggie Rockstone, over a famous beef between them some years ago.

Ex-Doe said the beef and lyrics of some of the songs he did during the late 1990s and early 2000s were just part of show business and he hopes Reggie forgives him.

One particular song that sparked the beef between the hiplife pacesetters was the smash hit song ‘Maba’ released by Ex-Doe in 1999.

In the lyrics of the song, Ex-Doe said,

“Rasta wonti reggae wose wo y3 rapper.” (Rasta can’t speak reggae; you say you are a rapper)

Years after several jabs between the two artistes, Ex-Doe speaking at the launch of the Hiplife Month on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM with KMJ Tuesday apologised to Reggie.

“Reggie I am sorry,” he said.
