I make hit songs – D-Black.
Despite being bashed as a bad rapper, popular musician, D-Black, says he knows how to make a hit song. “ I don’t understand why anyone would say I am a terrible rapper because I do hit songs.
Vera, Personal Person, Kotomoshi, Carry Go are few songs of mine that everyone jammed to and no one can dispute the fact that they are good songs” he told Showbiz in an interview last week.
According to D- Black, he knows what goes into making a hit song that is why his songs are always enjoyed by Ghanaians.
“After recording in a studio, I am very much confident Ghanaians will love it and I have never disappointed as a musician. My lyrics are great and straight to the point and any good musician will attest that I am one of the best rappers”, he said.
D-Black explained that Ghanaians have a problem with him because he raps in English. He noted that in Ghana, when you rap in English and your vocabulary is good, people term you as “too and that is known” and call you all sort of names the reason Ghanaians claim he is not good.
Asked why he always prefers to feature other artistes, D-Black said he is not eloquent in the local dialects and he employs the services of other rappers or singers in his songs for that purpose.
“ Yes I do a lot of features and I don’t regret them because I don’t flow well in the local dialect. It is best for me to go in for a good musician who is good with the local dialect than do it myself and get it wrong”, he revealed.
Talking about his music, the CEO of Black Avenue Muzic said he is out with his third studio album titled Light Work.
The multiple award-winning afrobeats / hiphop artiste features some of the finest artistes on the 19 track album. Sarkodie, Shaker, Castro, EL, VVIP, Pappy Kojo, Luther, Bisa Kdei , Singlet; Nigeria’s M.I Abaga, South Africa’s Cassper Nyovest are all featured on the album.
Dj Breezy, Fortune Dane, Gem, Nshorna Music and Mr. Kamera are the sound engineers who worked worked on Light Work.

Abena Korkor Attacks Mp (Video)
The Ningo Prampram Member of Parliament, Sam George, has come under fire from socialite Abena Korkor for not fixing the roads in his district.
Korkor posted a video of her community's terribly maintained roads that was shot in Tema Community 25 after recent rains.
She claims that Uber drivers won't come to the neighborhood to give rides because of how terrible the roads are.
She added that, as a result, she must travel in a motor vehicle to do all of her errands. As Korkor hauled local MP Sam George, she did not hold back.
She also had some harsh words to say about Stephanie Karikari, the former Miss Ghana, and former President Mahama, among many others.

“What If The ‘Big Mouth Association” Too Comes Out Angry?” – Shatta Wale Asks Ghana Society Of The Physically Disabled
After making fun of Stonebwoy's disabilities, Ghanaian reggae dancehall musician Shatta Wale has adamantly refused to apologize to the Ghana Society of Physically Disabled (GSPD).
After Wale made fun of Stonebwoy at the just-ended Salafest, the GSPD urged the singer to recant his remarks and issue an apology.
However, Shatta Wale disregarded society's plea in a widely shared video response.
The “On God” hitmaker instead questioned society's reasoning for the demand and railed against it.
The outspoken performer said, “You can't create a problem for me; I am a problem myself.” “Everything we are doing is creating an association and paying dues; there is even an unemployed people's association.”
