I make good but not hit songs – Stonebwoy

Former VGMA artiste of the year – has made a very profound statement at the just ended Ghana Music Awards UK saying that he focuses on producing good songs and not Hit songs.
The “People Dey” hit maker made this statement when he mounted the stage to receive his award for winning reggae Dancehall song of the year with his “Go higher” smash hit.
One would say the Dancehall warrior was taking a swipe at someone with that statement he made. But whoever it was he was taking a swipe at, he did not mention. in addition to winning the award for reggae Dancehall song of the year, also took home the award for Album of the year with his “Necessary Evil” album.
He later took to the stage to dish out some energy-filled performance to a play back. Though Stonebwoy is noted lately for live performances, it was unclear what made him perform to playback when there was actually a live band set up which he could have used.
The night went down well with patrons having a blast. Others who also won awards on the night include Bisa Kdei, Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, Sonie Badu, Fuse ODG, SP Kofi Sarpong, EL, Mr. Eazy, Kofi Kinaata among others.
Ghana Music Awards UK 2016 was aired live on Pluzz 89.9 FM in Ghana.

Regardless of the situation they are in, media personality has challenged people to be the reason other people smile in their lives.


She claims that there is a great deal of cruelty in the world that has put individuals in uncomfortable positions and taken away their enjoyment. Therefore, it is imperative that people make making other people smile their top priority.

Speaking during a live TikTok session, Serwaa gave advice on how those in positions of power could address the needs of others by grinning.

“I hope that you're having a great day. So listen, if you haven't made anyone smile today, I think that you really should. There's so much happening in the world right now.

“There's so much cruelty. Like, people really just need a simple reason to smile. So if you're in whatever position it is to make someone smile, either by being kind or saying something nice, please do so. Be the reason someone smiles today,” she admonished.

The Ghanaian actor feels that marriage has great importance in a person's life as it is a heavenly institution designed to ensure human perpetuation through conception.

But he cautions that it can be harmful to marry someone whose attitude and temperament are incompatible with your own, potentially having an influence on both your personal and professional lives.

God has established marriage as one of the most important responsibilities. While some people may become wealthy after marriage, getting married to a dishonest person might spell disaster. In certain situations, one spouse may be honest while the other is not,” he said. 

In addition, he emphasized the damaging effects of dishonesty in relationships and how it may erode stability and trust. He was vehemently opposed to lying, saying that those who tell lies are more dangerous to a marriage than people who have extramarital relationships. 

In the video below, he stressed the value of honesty as the cornerstone of a happy and long-lasting marriage and concluded, “In my view, dishonesty is a grave offense.”
