A Kobi Rana film, SALA was premiered last Friday at the Silverbird Cinema Accra Mall and WestHills Mall at 7PM and 9PM respectively.
The movie which received 15 nominations at the 2016 Ghana Movie Awards stars Fred Amugi, Jackie Appiah, Kalsoume Sinare, Kobi Rana and the new screen goddess Eman Sinare who were all spotted at the premiere.

Jackie Appiah took the character of Dede, a thug girl living with her single mother, Kalsum Sinare and little sister, Eman Sinare but has dreams of becoming a football and sometimes wish she was a male so she could realize that dream easily taking her environment into consideration.

The father (Fred Amugi) is an ex-convict who did ten years in prison. He comes out with a different ideology and ways of looking at things, he remains the strongest motivator to Dede. The question was whether Dede would become the footballer she dreamt of becoming or her addiction to drugs and stealing would prevent her from full actualization of that childhood dream.
