Stonebwoy misses out on Grammy nomination

 

Ghanaian Dancehall artiste Stonebwoy has lost out on what Ghanaians hope will be his first Grammy nomination. His 6-song EP ‘LIVINGSTONE‘ was expected to be amongst the names in the ‘Best Reggae Album' category for this year's edition.
The nominees for the 59th edition of the awards scheme was announced minutes ago by American artiste Meghan Trainor.
Below are the nominees for the Best Reggae Album category. Sly & Robbie Presents… Reggae For Her — Devin Di Dakta & J.L Rose Petals — J Boog Ziggy Marley — Ziggy Marley Everlasting — Raging Fyah Falling Into Place — Rebelution SOJA: Live In Virginia — SOJA
Rocky Dawuni was nominated in the same category but lost out to Morgan Heritage last year.
A Grammy Award, or Grammy, is an honor awarded by The Recording Academy to recognize outstanding achievement in the music industry. It features performances by prominent artists, and also presentation of awards that are of interest to many people.
The awards night will be held on February 12, 2017.
