Shatta Wale Calls For The Election Results To Be Swiftly Declared So Ghana Can ‘Move On’

 
 

Dancehall king, Shatta Wale, has called on the final results of the elections to be swiftly declared for the country to ‘move on' as tensions are currently so high.

Shatta flirted with either political party this election cycle, even performing at the final rally of the ruling NDC at the Accra Sports Stadium.
With results currently streaming in and the Electoral Commission having gone mute, either of the two major parties in the election are claiming victory and despite a largely peaceful polls, the delay in announcing results could lead to some tensions and a troubling aftermath.

Writing on social media, Shatta said whoever won the elections should simply be announced. If it was Nana, or Mahama, it should be handed to them so the current tension can dissipate.
