Actor John Dumelo has just congratulated Nana Akufo on winning the 2016 Ghana presidential elections.
Despite no official announcement from the Electoral Commission, multiple reputable news sites like Joy FM and Citi FM have all projected the 72-year-old three-time flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) as the winner of the hotly contested polls.
Taking to his Twitter handle, Dumelo — who campaigned literally everywhere for President Mahama — said: “We fought a good fight…but the people have spoken. Congrats to president elect @NAkufoAddo.”
