Guru Is Back For VGMA: Rescinds Decision To Boycott Awards
Just days after stating his stance of withdrawing his nominations in the 2017 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, where he presented an official to that effect, www.dklassgh.net can authoritatively report that, the artist has rescinded his decision and is now part of the scheme and is in contention for all categories he's been nominated in.
Checks from this website show that, after management presented the letter of withdrawal from the Awards, a discussion was held between the organizers of the VGMA, Charterhouse and Guru's management, where his grievances were heard.
After some intervention from Management and some convincing from the organizers, the website can confirm that Guru, is now back in the nominations list for the 2017 edition of the awards.
Guru attained three (3) nominations; Hiplife Song of the Year, Hiplife/Hiphop Artist of the Year, and Best Collaboration of the Year.
