Press Release: Blaka Gh Changes Name to Jo-Quaye

The Management of Black Vibes Nation (BVN) will like to announce the name change of their A-list recording Artiste from Blaka Gh to Jo-Quaye.
This decision was made technically by the Black Vibes Nation Administration.
The Name Jo-Quaye signifies deep Ghanaian Roots as its an acronym coined from his birth name: Jonathan Addoquaye Akwei jnr. With this name change, Jo-Quaye hopes to bring back the African way of making music creatively coined with rap. Commercial hit songs will also be frequently rendered to the public as well.

ARTIST PROFILE
Jo-Quaye,born Jonathan Addoquaye Akwei Jr., is a Dansoman City (DC) based Hip-Hop recording Artiste,a Beat Producer and the C.E.O of Black vibes nation.
Born in Accra, September 18th, He was formerly known as Blaka Gh (tualai),but now notably known as Jo-Quaye depicted from his real name that makes him original and unique.
Jo-Quaye grew up listening to the likes of 2Pac,Nas,Eminem,Sizzla,Okomfour Kwadee and Kojo Antwi.
J.Cole and Kendrick Lamar have been inspiring him since he fell in love with their music.
He’s been able to build his musical reputation on the hard truth and focuses his songs on inspirational and social issues surrounding our day to day activities.
His first public performance was at a Street Battle in D.C, where he exhibited extraordinary talent, and won the heart of the crowd gathered including celebrities.Utilizing Twi,Ga,Pidgin and english
in his music,Jo-Quaye has bridged the gap; cutting across audiences in Ghana.
His first single, PropaGhana (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9iVbgF6YaHw) , which was released in 2010 addressed the socioeconomic issues as well as political problems in Ghana, citting few incidents in the music, movie and sports industries.
He further released subsequent ones like ”sadiaa”, ”am not leaving” which featured Stonebuoy,”Tozo”, ”No Size” Featured Luther and the current one ”Eno” a classical highlife feauturing Kesse.
He has collaboreted with most of the big stars in the industry like kojo Kombolo, Shatta wale,stonebowy,stone (bradez),Kesse,Luther.Aj OmoAlajah,Episode,Chymny Crane, Kochoko Etc. Aside Jo-Quaye’s dexterity in rap, he’s also a sound engineer and a trainer.
Black vibes nation is a group, formed by Jo-Quaye but has quite number of members and
few administrators; and it is intended to help the youth in GH develop their skills in rap and music production. “Swee”is the slogan he uses quite often.
Jo-Quaye is a very great talented young man who has a lot to offer the Ghanaian music industry and the world at large,he believes in making his fans happy always alongside taking Ghana to the world.

“I Envy Kofi Kinaata A Lot” – Okyeame Kwame (Video)
Ghanaian rapper Kwame Nsiah-Apau, known by his stage name Okyeame Kwame and nicknamed Rap Doctor, opened up in a recent interview with YouTuber Kwadwo Sheldon about how he and rapper and cum singer Martin King Arthur made up a great song together.
According to the veteran rapper who reevaluated in the interview, he envies Kofi Kinaata for his lyrical prowess. He also revealed how Kofi was able to write his chorys with ease and, in the end, even helped him (Okyeame Kwame) write some rap lines.
When asked which elements propel him to come out with nice songs, rapper Okyeame Kwmane revealed that he gets to the studio happily to make songs; not drugs or anything else pushes him to write good songs. However, he revealed that he feels best when the lights in the studio are on and clear to enhance his rapping prowess.
In this same interview, Okyeame Kwame revealed that he is a happy person, he does not hold grudges, and he is compassionate.
