Ghana's King of Dancehall Charles Nii Armah popularly known as Shatta Wale has described Denkyira Obuasi as an evil town and has vowed never to step foot there, Konkonsa.com reports.

Denkyira Obuasi happens to be the town where the barbaric murder of innocent military officer Major Maxwell Adam Mahama took place and the “Kakai” hit maker said the town is a blood sucking village so there is no way he would to associate with them.
Speaking in an interview on Peace FM's “Entertainment Review”, insisted that no amount of money or security would make him go there.
“I will never go! For me knowing the type of people there that this is how they are, I don't think my God will even allow me to go there no matter how much money. Even if you offer me $10 million, I will not go because money is the root of all evil. Even if you bring former American President George Bush's security, I will not go. I don't believe in money I believe in God and I want to say that no amount of money can make me go to a place with such evil minds”.
Shatta stressed that he can't believe how men and women can kill a fellow human being in such inhumane manner. He said he believes Major Mahama is not the only one who has been killed in the village.
“That town is a deadly town. Major is not the only person they have killed; they have killed a lot of people there. I am not saying this because I have prove but how mothers just stood by and watch and even the Assemblyman of the area told them to beat him, I don't believe Major is the only person they have killed. That town is devilish”.

According to him, he watched the viral video of how Major Mahama was chased, stoned to death and burnt but he couldn't watch the full video because that was the first time he saw human beings physically hitting a fellow human being's head with stones and blocks and he just couldn't continue watching

Speaking about a tribute song he released few hours after the unfortunate incident, Shatta said he cried after seeing the video so he decided to do a song about it because couldn't just keep mute. He disclosed that he produced the song at about at 2am and he recorded and mastered the song within 55 minutes.
The late Captain Maxwell Adam Mahama, who has now been given a posthumous promotion to a Major, was lynched with parts of his body burnt by some residents of Denkyira-Obuasi in the Upper West Denkyira District of the Central Region Monday, 29th May 2017.
According to initial reports, he was mistaken for an armed robber by residents after he was seen jogging in civilian clothes with a gun on him.
Later, reports suggested he was attacked and killed by the townsfolk who identified him as a soldier deployed to stop them from undertaking illegal small-scale mining in the area.

“I Accepted A Bribe To Keep Mute After Seeing A Pastor Bonk A Colleague’s Wife In His Office” – Gospel Singer, Erico

Erico

Famous for competing in the Mentor competition, gospel artist Eric Oduro has shared how he exposed a senior pastor who was having an extramarital affair with a colleague's wife.

In his account of the incident on Adom TV's Okukuseku with Emelia Brobbey, said that he had been hired to serve at a church in Nungua when the incident occurred.

It was his responsibility, he said, to oversee a spirit-filled ministry that would bring in the senior pastor to deliver a sermon to the congregation.

He stated he had to reroute his route and return to the church after doing his work and leaving the property because he had forgotten his glasses in the pastor's office.

Upon barging into the senior pastor's office, he said the scene that unfolded before him was so shocking that, to date, he occasionally gets flashbacks.

recounted seeing the pastor pants down while banging the junior pastor's wife, who doubles as the church's secretary, on his desk.

As he snatched his spectacles and made attempts to quietly walk out, he said the pastor pleaded with him not to create a scene as church service was still ongoing.

In exchange for his silence, Erico claims the pastor offered him a substantial bribe, which he accepted.
