3 years after Castro and girlfriend’s disappearance; the story so far

Published

on

Today July 6, 2017 marks exactly three years Ghanaian hiplife musician, Theophilus Tagoe otherwise known as Castro in Showbiz and Janet Bandu mysteriously disappeared while on holiday at Ada.
There have been conflicting reports as whether the musician is still alive or died alongside the girlfriend who was riding on the Jet Ski at Ada towards the estuary on the said date.
Black Stars Skipper, who is a close pal to the musician, believes he is no more but said he cannot go ahead and perform his funeral rites simply because the law requires that a missing person can be declared dead after seven years.
According to him, two deities he consulted in the heat of Castro's disappearance all confirmed that the musician was no more.
He is therefore inclined to believe that Castro is dead.
Recounting events surrounding Castro's disappearance, Gyan said: That was the first time they went to Aqua Safari and that in the previous years, they went to Akosombo
That particular year, the yacht at Akosombo was broken down so they decided to go to Ada. A day before we went to Ada, he [Castro] came to my house and said he was on his way to Kumasi and would not join us.
But whilst we were on our way to Ada, on the Accra-Tema motorway, we received a phone call that “Under” [Castro] wants us to wait for him.
We parked at a fuel station where a crowd gathered to catch a glimpse of me. I later got the inclination it was destined to happen because he was initially not part of the trip.
When we got to Ada, everything went fine. We were to spend three days, but ended up using the Jet Ski on the second day.
Others, who are holding contrary view, believe his disappearance could be linked to a popularity stunt that has gone bad.
A number of colleague musicians are still hopeful Castro will return but when and how remains the mystery puzzle.
In all this, celebrity lawyer Maurice Ampaw wants police to arrest to provide the whereabouts of the msuician though he fell short to give reason for his stance on the matter.

Abena Korkor Attacks Mp (Video)

The Ningo Prampram Member of Parliament, Sam George, has come under fire from socialite for not fixing the roads in his district.

Korkor posted a video of her community's terribly maintained roads that was shot in Tema Community 25 after recent rains.

She claims that Uber drivers won't come to the neighborhood to give rides because of how terrible the roads are.

She added that, as a result, she must travel in a motor vehicle to do all of her errands. As Korkor hauled local MP Sam George, she did not hold back.

She also had some harsh words to say about Stephanie Karikari, the former Miss Ghana, and former President Mahama, among many others.

Shatta Wale

After making fun of Stonebwoy's disabilities, Ghanaian reggae dancehall musician has adamantly refused to apologize to the Ghana Society of Physically Disabled (GSPD).

After Wale made fun of Stonebwoy at the just-ended Salafest, the GSPD urged the singer to recant his remarks and issue an apology.

However, disregarded society's plea in a widely shared video response.

The “On God” hitmaker instead questioned society's reasoning for the demand and railed against it.

The outspoken performer said, “You can't create a problem for me; I am a problem myself.” “Everything we are doing is creating an association and paying dues; there is even an unemployed people's association.”
