Highest Paid Musicians In Ghana 2017.

There's always a debate when it comes to who the highest paid musician is in Ghana 2017. Even though these musicians do not disclose how much they get paid to play a show, we did some digging and came up with correct and accurate figures. Now you can guess who they are right?

Even though some musicians give us back to back hit songs throughout the year, they still get paid less. The amount of money an artist get paid depends on the taste of the people and some other miscellaneous factors.

6. Becca – GHs 30,000.00

Recently signed to the richest record label in Ghana, Becca played many shows this year. She has proven to be the ‘Rhianna' of our time by giving us back to back hit songs. She launched an album this year, Unveiling,  which got the highest sale so far since the genesis of her music career. Her recent record, ‘Na Wash' featuring Nigeria's Patoranking got featured on music charts in Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa and in the States. With all those achievements, you can guess why she's on this list. According to our sources, Becca  charges Ghs30,000 per a show which is equivalent to $ 6,655.00.
5. R2Bees – GHs 60,000.00

Since their worldwide breakthrough song, the Tema duet have been doing so well, giving us mind blowing tunes and winning both local and international awards. Even though they are on a musical break, they really did so well this year. Giving us songs such as ‘Plantain chips' and ‘Over' this year. They charge GHs 60,000 per a show which is equivalent to $ 13,309.00
4. Stonebwoy – GHs 70,000.00

Stonebwoy, born Etse Setakla is a Dancehall/Afrobeats artist who hailed from the Volta Region. He was first signed onto High Grade Family during the early stages of his music career – he was nurtured there. Over the years, he has become one of the toughest artists making unforgettable records. No wonder he won BET Award (Black Entertainment Television Award) same year he emerged as the VGMA (Vodafone Ghana Music Award) artist of the year. Since then, he has played both local and international shows and won unimaginable number of plaques to his credit. He's recently signed onto Zylonphone Media alongside Becca and Obinini. Stonebwoy charges GHs 70,000.00 which is equivalent to $ 15,492.00
3. Shatta Wale – GHs 100,000.00

If there's any artist who can make the president of any nation dance to his song, then it's that guy – Shatta Wale, the dancehall champion. Shatta Wale is the choice of the people. He voice out for them, fight for them and protect them. He has over 400 hit songs and still counting. Having been one of the successful and most celebrated artist of all times, he doesn't joke when it come to money as he's well known for his lavish lifestyle. Shatta Wale who rubbished Forbes and declared himself a millionaire owns a million dollar mansion and a fleet of cars including his newest Maserati. Shatta Wale charges GHs 100,000.00 per a show.
2. – GHs 100,000.00

Being number 9 on Forbes' richest artists in Africa doesn't stop The Highest  from charging high for a show. His charges depicts his brand. , Africa's most awarded musician and a former BET Award winner is widely known for over 100 hit songs. His recent album, The Highest,  got streamed on Spotify over 38 million times. Got featured on Billboards 100 hot songs charts among many others. Sarkodie is a living legend who doesn't spend unnecessarily. He is known to be a man of few words but rich in pocket. He charges GHs 100,000.00 per a show.
1. Fuse ODG – GHs 120,000.00

Are you surprised? I know you would be. Lol! Yes Fuse ODG is the highest paid Ghanaian musician in 2017. The London based Ghanaian Afropop singer, FUSE ODG began his musical journey way in Tema with R2Bees, Sarkodie and his favorite engineer KillBeatz Addison. He's one of the few guys who pushed Azonto to the world. With over 50 hit songs, he charges GHs 120,000.00 per a show.

JUST IN: Kuami Eugene involved in a ghastly car Accident (PHOTOS)

Award-winning Ghanaian musician , sustained injuries on Sunday night after ramming his car into a tipper truck.

The accident occurred at CP, close to the DSTV office towards the Dzowulu traffic light in Accra.

According to the Editor for Modern Ghana news portal, Emmanuel Ajarfor Abugri who witnessed the accident, he was right behind the musician's car when the accident happened around 11:30 pm.

He told Myjoyonline.com that he only noticed it was the musician in the car with one male passenger when he went closer to offer assistance.

“I was behind him, and so I was the first person to rush to his rescue. I arranged for a vehicle to convey him together with one person onboard to the UGMC hospital.”

He explained that the tipper truck was in motion but moving slowly when the musician crashed into it from behind.

He believes the accident occurred because the N1 highway is dark due to poor lighting, while the tipper truck also lacked tail light worsening visibility.

Ajarfor also says he called in police officers from the Achimota Police Station to the scene who towed his car.

According to him, the artiste appears to have broken his arm as a cut was visible with blood all over.

“He's fine. He had a broken arm with blood all over his hands. The car is badly damaged and all the airbags were out. He could have died”he said.

The artiste was in a range rover with registration number, GC- 220-21.

Grammy-nominated Nigerian singer has said American star, Chris Brown has been very supportive of African artists.

, who is billed to join Chris Brown as a special guest on his “11:11” tour of the United States and Canada, said she was elated when she found out about it during the Grammy week.

Speaking in a recent interview with Kiss FM, UK, the singer said, “I first heard about it [my tour with Chris Brown] during the Grammy week. I was super excited. No, I didn't cry. I would probably cry during my first performance at the tour when I see everybody [laughs]

“Chris Brown has been a fan of African music for a long time. He has been very supportive. He has always been supporting the culture and it is really beautiful to see.

“It is exciting to see African music get recognised globally. It has been a long time coming. African music has been popping. African music has been doing it in Africa. Actually, Afrobeats has always been the best genre in the world.”

I regret body-shaming BNXN – Ruger

Artist Michael Adebayo Olayinka, better known by his stage name , has said he regrets body-shaming BNXN, formerly known as Buju, a colleague.

Dklassgh.Com remembers that in 2022, during their social media feud, body-shamed BNXN.

But, Ruger expressed regret for his actions when he appeared as a guest on the most recent episode of the Bahd And Boujee Podcast, which is co-hosted by actress Moet Abebe and reality star Tolanibaj.

“I regret body-shaming BNXN (Buju),” he said.

After Ruger left D'Prince's Jonzing World and started his own record label, Blown Boy Entertainment, he and BNXN have since called it quits on their beef.

“Romeo Must Die” is the title of a collaborative song that the two recently released.
